According to Eurohoops sources, CSKA Moscow and Sergio Rodriguez’s agents met in order to discuss the possibility of him signing with the Euroleague powerhouse.

There’s no offer yet, as it’s not easy for “El Chacho”, who is a free agent, to leave the NBA, however only a club like CSKA can lure him back to Europe.

The Russian team is willing to make a colossal offer to the Spanish guard, that can reach up to 10.7 million euros for a 3-year deal. The same offer has been made to Milos Teodosic in order to keep him in Moscow.

31-year-old Rodriguez, who spent 6 seasons with Real Madrid (2010-2016), seems keen on the idea of returning to EuroLeague, after 68 games with the Sixers during the past season.

Rodriguez was originally selected by Phoenix Suns with the 27th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. Over the course of four seasons, he appeared in 285 games with New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers.
