The coach of CSKA Moscow who thanked the fans for helping his team during the game, especially when the “Army Team” was trailing, added about Clyburn: “We managed to find a way to win thanks to small ball. I have to apologize to Will Clyburn who played almost 40 minutes. He was the x-factor, he had 12 rebounds. I never like to talk about one player, but I am doing it because of the big minutes that he got”.

Itoudis also stressed the fact that CSKA Moscow, despite being one of the favorites to go all the way, has to fight on the court: “We are not playing alone. This is a hell of a competition. It’s a EuroLeague with the best possible 16 teams. All the teams want to be in the playoffs. CSKA is not alone in this universe. We play against competitors. This is a big win for us. After the first quarter, the partial score is 77 to 54 our favor. We still have a lot of work to do. In order to become a team, it will take some time”.
