Olympiacos and Khimki remain unbeaten and they will face each other on Thursday. It’s an important game with an interesting twist as Giorgos Bartzokas will play against his old team.

Bartzokas was asked if this important for him and he explained that it’s not a first: “For me, it is not important [to play against Olympiacos on Thursday] because this was four years ago. I also played against Olympiacos with Barcelona last season, so whatever happens, happens. I am now focused on my team and we need to play much, much better if we want to win over there.”

As for the game against Zvezda, he added: “We threw away 20 minutes in the first half, playing without patience, and we didn’t stop anyone on defense. We needed to have a different approach, especially on defense. I think we managed to do this in the third quarter. We were much, much better on defense and found some good opportunities to score. Finally, we won easily, but as I said, our approach in the first 20 minutes was very bad for us”.
