Brose Bamberg prevailed over Crvena Zvezda 75-69 in Belgrade thanks to a dream start in the game where they played their best basketball so far this season.

After the first ten minutes, they had a 12-point lead (30-18). Crvena Zvezda was able to cut the point difference in the second quarter, but Brose had a solid 43-34 advantage at halftime.

The hosts didn’t give up and finally made it a two-point game (69-67) with two minutes left on the clock. However, Dusan Alimpijevic’s team didn’t have enough energy down the stretch to complete the comeback.

The Key: Andrea Trinchieri’s team was ready from the first second of the match as they were more focused and decisive. The good start proved to be more than important for the final outcome.

The Star: Leon Radosevic was the glue guy for Bamberg tonight as he had 11 points and 7 rebounds which was enough for a 16 PIR. His partner in the paint Augustine Rubit had a good game as well, scoring 15 points.

Once again Taylor Rochestie was outstanding for Zvezda with 22 points, but tonight that was not enough. Bamberg moved up to a 3-2 record as Zvezda has a 2-3.
