Matt Janning felt right at home in Russia against Khimki and he is getting hot, while his days in Vitoria might be numbered.

The American sharpshooter of Baskonia had a season high of 19 points making four out of eight threes (5/9 FG in total) and he also grabbed two rebounds.

The point, however, in his case is scoring. Since the arrival of coach Pedro Martinez, Janning is averaging 15.5 ppg in Euroleague while shooting 80% in two-point shots, 50% in threes and he hasn’t missed a free throw yet. Those numbers are impressive and may play a role in the future of the player.

Janning’s deal with Baskonia expires on the 19th of November and there’s no word yet if he will remain or not with the team. With him shooting this way, it’s obvious that even if Baskonia does not keep him, it’s just a matter of time for another EuroLeague team to sign him.
