Maccabi‘s coach focused on how the game against Real drained the team’s energy: “Turns out Real Madrid really took a lot from us. The best team won tonight.”

However, he focuses on what’s to be done in order to improve rather than the negative result: “I know what kind of mistakes we did. That’s the life in sports, we don’t need to be frustrated, we need to work for the future games. That was our worst game, but I don’t want to see anyone of my players frustrated. We have to find out how to recover and get better.”

“It’s just one game. just like I didn’t overreact after Real, I won’t do it now”, he added.

Finally, he didn’t forget to mention Maccabi‘s fans, that showed their support once again. “The support by our fans was important, especially tonight when we went down by 20.”
