Luka Doncic was among the very few players that stood out in Real Madrid’s devastating loss to Baskonia in Round 7 of the EuroLeague regular season.

The 18-year-old Slovenian scored 18 points and dished out four assists, which were more than enough to make him the youngest player with 200 in the modern (post-2000) EuroLeague era.

Who was the previous record holder? Why no other than Ricky Rubio who reached the 200-mark while 20 years old in an 80 – 56 blowout win over Barcelona over Lottomatica Roma for Round 3 of the 2010-2011 Top 16 Stage.

An established NBA player now, Rubio had then posted five assists, apart from five rebounds and four steals. It was his last season in EuroLeague before joining the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Other players who registered 200 assists at a relatively young age are Ender Arslan (23 years old), Nikos Zisis (23 years old), Milos Teodosic (23 years old), Lukas Lekavicius (23 years old) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (23 years old).
