Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul got its eighth win of the season against FC Barcelona Lassa and after the game both coaches; Zeljko Obradovic and Sito Alonso commented on their respective teams and the game.
Zeljko Obradovic‘s comments: “They played really well in the beginning, but then they shot 2/14 in the end. We played good defense in the second, third and fourth quarter. I’m very proud of the way we played today, congratulations to my players, and I want to thank Fener‘s fans for coming here in Barcelona to support us. We have a lot of upcoming games in this interesting competition and let’s see how it plays out.”
Sito Alonso’s comments: “We started very well, we read the game well in the first 10 minutes, but they are a very good team and came back. After the half-time break we came in the second half and in the first five minutes we had the opportunity to make some open shots but we missed. We were afraid, we did not have confidence in offense. We did not take advantage of the situation. They played well. We have to learn to become the better team.
