Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens managed to defeat FC Barcelona Lassa at home to keep the undefeated home winning streak alive. After the game, Eurohoops talked to Marcus Denmon about the season so far, what should the team improve on but also the next tough stretch of games.

When asked about the ‘Final Four’ Marcus Denmon, stated the importance of taking everything day by day: “Right now is January. We still have a lot of games to play. Obviously, this is our ultimate goal, and it’s not something that we can do by looking ahead, we gotta take it day by day.

When it comes to the undefeated home winning streak, Denmon does not think there is a secret behind this run, as he said to Eurohoops. “I don’t think there is a secret. Coming out, competing and playing hard on the defensive end has allowed us to win the games at home.”

Moreover, he commented on the schedule of Panathinaikos:“We just try and take it one game at a time. We’ll get back tomorrow, prepare for the game against AEK on the weekend, and then we’ll turn our focus to Fenerbahce. We try to remain consistent on the defensive end, share the ball on offense and work well together as a team.”

Finally, Denmon also stated, on how the team can improve moving forward especially on games on the road: “In the first half of the season, we had a lot of games on the road, and this half of the season we have learned from our mistakes. We are going to be better prepared this second round on the road, moving forward.
