Joan Plaza commented: “I think the worst part of the game was the first period. If we kept playing like we did in the during that period, the score would’ve been 124-87. We deserved to lose, we were not smart enough to win the game.”

When asked about Brooks (who tapped 19 points tonight), the coach noted: “Brooks played, maybe not enough time. I don’t think we’d lose or win because of this. We have to go through two more games this week, it wouldn’t make any difference if one player is playing or not.”

Following, Simone Pianigiani commented: “It was important for us to keep moving the ball in the right way, and we did that to get open shots so it was a very good game for us. It was important for the players, they deserve this because many times we have played until the last minutes but then lost, and some seasons like this you can lose your confidence especially on a team with a lot of new players. If you lose confidence you can be in trouble, so this kind of game is very important for the players. They deserve it and now I hope we can recover a better position in EuroLeague.”
