Barcelona officially announced the signing of= Edwin Jackson with a contract until June 30, 2018. The international French shooting guard returns to the club where he previously played during 2014-2015.
Jackson, 28, began the season in China with the Guangdong Flying Tigers. After 24 games in which he averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists he was cut earlier this month.
Before his Chinese League venture, Jackson had won Top Scorer honors in the Spanish League as a player of Estudiantes, finishing 2016-2017 with 21.4 points per game.
His ACB experience also includes a stint with Unicaja Malaga in 2015-2016.
With 10 games remaining for the completion of the EuroLeague regular season, Barcelona is 7 – 13 and on the verge of elimination from the playoffs. In the Spanish League, the Blaugrana stand at the second place in the standings with a 12 – 6 record.
