The Magic Moment Contest, which determines the best play of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season according to the fans themselves, is back!
The early phase of the contest has started the process of choosing from dozens of spectacular highlights to arrive at one play that stands above all. That play will be honored at the season-ending award ceremony during the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Belgrade.
The first phase of the contest will judge the best Magic Moments for the first half of the EuroLeague regular season, from Round 1 through Round 15. To get started, from now through Wednesday, January 24, fans can vote for the two most popular Magic Moments for each of the 16 EuroLeague clubs on EuroLeague Instagram Stories.
Once fans have narrowed down the Magic Moments to select the best from each team, voting will shift to 7daysbasketball.com starting on Monday, January 29, where fans can choose their favorite from the 16 remaining plays. This phase will last seven days.
Fans who register to vote will be entered in a drawing to win great prizes, including autographed EuroLeague basketballs and official jerseys.
A similar process will be used in April to select the Magic Moment for the second half of the regular season. A panel of experts will choose the Magic Moment for the playoffs, and then fans will be invited to choose this season’s winner from among the three finalists in early May.
