Anadolu Efes defeated Valencia Basket 82 – 66 in Istanbul and they are closer to leaving the last place in EuroLeague after ending a three games losing streak as Errick won the duel against Erick.

McCollum was simply unstoppable and decided the game by himself when the “Taronjas” tried to come back. Erick Green was “red hot” during a 12-0 run (63 – 58, 33′) but it was McCollum’s Family Day and Efes took the win.

Following his brother’s 50 points performance against the Chicago Bulls, McCollum led the winners with 24 points, six rebounds and six assists for 32 index rating. Zoran Dragic contributed to the victory with 18 points and Brock Motum shined in the second quarter. The Australian finished with 11.

Valencia‘s defense was weak and the Spanish champions failed to score almost every single time that they drove to the basket. To be exact, they didn’t even foul. Efes led by double-digits almost for the entire game which is more impressive if we consider that they didn’t go to the stripe until the last quarter. Valencia was trailing by five, when Tibor Pleiss lost the ball and committed an unsportsmanlike foul. It was the only time that an Efes‘ player had the chance to shoot a free throw.Vladimir Stimac made them both and the Turkish team finished the game with a perfect 2/2 from the line.

Green had 18 points for Valencia with 5-of-7 3FG and 0-of-5 2FG.
