Baskonia easily crushed Crvena Zvezda and head coach Pedro Martinez still believes in their playoff chances: “I don’t care about the other teams. I have enough with mine. The truth is that we have never been in playoff spots and we are still out. But our ambition and our objective are to finish in the Top 8 after Week 30. I wish we can do it

Speaking about the game he added: “I think we managed the game from the start and then we were quite regular during the rest the game, we played well. We won the rest of the quarters by three points so that shows how good team Crvena Zvezda is. With that good start, we were able to stay in front the rest of the game and it was quite comfortable. We kept playing in a good rhythm. Everything went perfectly from the start and we are happy because all the players had a positive impact. You can have a bad day and help the team but I’m always happy if they have a good attitude“.

A defeated Dusan Alimpijevic felt that they didn’t have any chance to win the game:”We didn’t have any chance to win this game because Baskonia was excellent and we were very bad, especially in our energy. I understand my players because we had a very important game in our championship and a very hard game against Olympiacos in EuroLeague. Also, we had a lot of injuries. James Feldeine has a problem in his ankle, I think he was injured in the game against Maccabi but I think that he will be ready for the next game“.
