Jasikevicius, who spent plenty seasons with Panathinaikos as a player, commented on the possibility of Panathinaikos leaving the EuroLeague, clearly stating that he can’t imagine the competition without the Greens.
“I can’t imagine Euroleague without Panathinaikos and Giannakopoulos family which had a such a big impact in making this club most successful in Euroleague”, stated the 41-year-old coach.
“I hope they’ll figure it out. Bertomeu was right: Euroleague needs Panathinaikos and Panathinaikos needs Euroleague”
