Olympiacos is expected to sign a guard in order to bolster its backcourt and the two main candidates currently on the agenda of the Greek club are former EuroLeague “Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy” winners Keith Langford and Bobby Brown.

Jordan Crawford is also an option that is being considered by Olympiacos.

The Reds won’t necessarily release someone in order to make room for their new acquisition, even though there is a restriction for six non-Greek players in the Greek League.

The club took the decision to proceed with a transfer following the defeat to AEK BC in the Greek Cup Final. It was a result that increased the concerns regarding the lackluster performance of certain backcourt players and highlighted the need for a reinforcement in this position.

The EuroLeague transfer deadline expires on 28/2. Olympiacos is currently second in the EuroLeague standings with a 15 – 7 record.
