In the game against Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens, Alexey Shved scored 16+ points for the 23rd consecutive time in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game, making him the first player since Alphonso Ford to reach this feat. Shved also reached 500 points in the season. In next week’s game against Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, he has the chance to break this record.

The 29-year old guard is averaging 22.0 points per game this season while shooting 47.8% from 2FG. Back in the 2000-2001 EuroLeague season, Ford averaged 24.8 points per game while shooting a highly efficient 52.3% from 2FG.
