Giorgos Bartzokas will have to pay a fine for the complaints he made towards the referees in a Khimki Moscow game.

Khimki Moscow head coach Giorgos Bartzokas was fined by EuroLeague Basketball for “showing lack of respect towards the officiating crew” during his team’s home game vs. Olimpia Milano.

Milano upset Khimki in that match, capturing a road victory.

The related announcement is as follows:

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 25 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.

  • Georgios Bartzokas, head coach of KHIMKI MOSCOW REGION has been sanctioned with a fine of 4,500 for showing lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its home game against AX ARMANI EXCHANGE OLIMPIA MILAN, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
