Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul prevailed over Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade with 80-63 on Day 28 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. The Turkish side sealed the homecourt advantage for the playoffs in the Serbian capital in front of already eliminated Zvezda.

Bobby Dixon led the Turkish side’s roadkill with 25 points (just a point less from his own personal scoring-high) and an incredible performance from the three-point line. Dixon tapped 7 shots from beyond the arch, practically sealing off his team’s victory right from the third quarter.

The 34-year-old guard was the only player of the visiting side to finish in double-digits, while he also added three rebounds, a steal and an assist, to seal off an index rating of 28.

Fenerbahce got the job done with a partial 25-10 run in the third period, which was mainly caused by Dixon’s efficiency from afar. At the same time, the Turkish team successfully managed to minimize the damage from Zvezda’s big guns, James Feldeine (2 points) and Taylor Rochestie (6 points).

Before the start of the game, Crvena Zvezda saved a special surprise for its ex-players, Nikola Kalinic and Marko Guduric, honoring the Serbian players.
