Georgios Bartzokas commented on the extra difficulty of playing against the reigning champions with so many injuries in the post-game press conference: “For us it’s a difficult period right now with lots of injuries. We need some health. Let’s hope we finish the regular season healthy in Barcelona next week.”
The Greek coach gave a brief overview of the injured players’ situation: “Todorovic has a problem in his back, Anderson had a big sprain in the previous game, Zubkov is still feeling pain in his back after getting injured with the Russian NT three months ago.”
Bartzokas also commented on Egor Vialtsev, who had a difficult game against Fener: “Sometimes he needs to concentrate and control his emotions. It’s a good opportunity to play against such strong teams, but we have to be realistic”.
