CSKA Moscow got past Khimki Moscow Region, and have a 1-0 lead, but CSKA‘s fans are not so happy right now.

According to French newspaper “L’ Equipe“, Itoudis’ squad may have lost one of their best players in Nando De Colo.

The French guard injured his leg in the second quarter of Game 1 and was forced to exit the game and not return to the contest. From Tuesday’s game, the Russians feared that De Colo picked up an injury and today it was verified.

The medical tests, the 31-year old had to go through on Wednesday showed the injury on his left leg adductor. De Colo will eventually miss the remainder of the playoffs and will hope for a come back before Belgrade’s Final Four if CSKA manages to qualify.

The experienced guard is averaging 16.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game in this year’s EuroLeague season and thus will be a huge absence for CSKA.
