Euroleague Basketball revealed the disciplinary sanctions regarding the incidents in Game 2 of EuroLeague playoffs.

Euroleague Basketball announced the disciplinary sanctions in reaction to incidents which occurred in Game 2 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoffs. Both Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul and Olympiacos Piraeus were fined for the lighting of fireworks and use of different unallowed objects during their home games.

The part of the official announcement regarding the two clubs is as follows:

Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul has been sanctioned with a fine of €6,000 for the lighting of fireworks and a fine of €4,000€ for the use of objects that disturb the job of the people involved in a game on the occasion of its home game against KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, under Article 29.2.f) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.”

Olympiacos Piraeus has been sanctioned with a fine of €2,500 for the lighting of fireworks and a fine of €4,000€ for the use of laser pointers on the occasion of its home game against Zalgiris Kaunas, under Article 29.2.e)  and 29.2.f) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code, respectively.”
