EuroLeague has issued a new case for Dimitris Giannakopoulos on the occasion of his publications on his personal account on Instagram.
The new disciplinary procedure concerns the publications of Giannakopoulos after Game 3 in Madrid, for which Panathinaikos expressed strong complaints on the officiating.
The Greens’ side mentions that EuroLeague’s procedure aims to Giannakopoulos’ lifelong ban from the competition.
According to EuroLeague, the automatic disciplinary procedures for Panathinaikos‘ owner posts have begun, though there is no issue of “lifelong” exclusion. The Sports Judge will make his verdict on the issue that has emerged and nothing more.
