As Khimki announced Robinson was fined for obscene remarks to the referees after the game, while fans three bottles on the court and tried to get down from the stands to attack the referees.

Pavel Astakhov, the general manager of Khimki, admitted that the fines were expected, but he is also waiting for EuroLeague’s verdict on Khimki’s protest of the final result: “Yes, indeed, we received a letter from the Euroleague with sanctions and, of course, we assume full responsibility and pay fines. But at the same time, we still have not received any response from the Euroleague about our complaint. We understand that nobody will reconsider the result of the match. But the players, coaches, the management of the club and, most importantly, the fans and all basketball lovers would like to know the opinion of the Euroleague about the last episode.

What was it? Uncoordinated actions of the scorer’s table and the refereeing team? Ref’s mistake? Error in the scorer’s table? Can a referee stop the game while the ball is love? On what grounds was not our last goal scored by the rules counted? We receive thousands of messages with similar questions not only from Russia, but also from Europe. After all, this situation can occur in absolutely any game of any level of competition. I think it is very important to get a competent and professional assessment from the Euroleague specialists in order to understand how to act in such situations in the future.

Who, after all, is more important on the basketball court and who provides victories – players or referees? ”
