Luka Doncic’s daily schedule is different than any other 19-year olds. At 19 years old, the Slovenian ‘wonder-kid’ has done many unique things in basketball but he still is a young adult.

La Giornata Tipo” presented Luka Doncic’s ‘average day’, explaining his shootarounds, training sessions and McDonald’s special meal deals with Randoncic.

“The Average Day”: LUKA DONCIC . 8 AM. Luka wakes up and jumps out from the cradle. 8.45 AM. Breakfast like every other morning: milk and cereals watching Tom & Jerry. 9.30 AM. It’s Training Time! Grandpa Reyes has come to pick him up to go training. 10.30 AM. Team is doing shootaround, while Luka is dribbling ninepins and shooting to minibasket hoops. 10.55 AM. 5v5 training starts, but Luka is left on the bench. A guy from the staff brings him a lollipop just to kill time. 11.15 AM. Coach Laso finally lets him play with the others, in 5 minutes: 16pts, 5/5 from 2pt, 2/2 from 3pt, 5 assists, 6 rebounds and 1 pump fake on Causeur, sending him directly to the bar where he needs to order a herbal tea to recover. 11.45 AM. Luka crashes on a Tavares screen: Rudy helps him to get back some of his ribs from the floor. 12.30 PM. Training is finished. 1.30 PM. Lunch at McDonald’s with Radoncic: 2 happy meals. 3.00 PM. Fans stop Luka on the streets: “MVP!! MVP!!”. Luka’s answer: “Still a lot to do and to learn from players like Llull and Campazzo”. Mentality. 4.00 PM. It’s Training Time! Grandpa Reyes is late: Luka decides to grab his scooter. 4.15 PM. Traffic light: a bad guy driving a truck honks to Luka and swears because Luka didn’t let him overtake. Doncic calls Ayon for back-up. 4.16 PM. Ayon arrives. 4.17 PM. After meeting Ayon, the bad guy drove off at 240 Km/h and is already in Gibraltar. 5.30 PM. Afternoon Training starts. 6.00 PM. Free throw sessions between Luka and Jaycee Carroll. The first one who misses, will lose. 9.30 PM. The Gym keeper switches off the lights, and closes down the place. The match finishes 735 to 735. 10.35 PM. Luka starts to sleep like a baby. 1.20 AM. Luka is dreaming. He is playing on a basketball court: crossover, step-back, no-looks, buzzer-beaters… Everything with quality, talent and a big smile on his face, because basketball for him is pure enjoyment. He dreams to lead his team to the Final Four and battles for the season MVP trophy. And our dream is to see him play. @euroleague #theaverageday #lukadoncic #realmadrid #lagiornatatipo @lukadoncic @ (versione in italiano nei commenti ⬇)
