Fenerbahce finished off its duties in the Turkish League regular season and now all eyes are on the Belgrade Final Four that kicks off Friday.

“Defending the championship or winning it? I have no idea, because it’s my first experience with defending a title. The motivation of the teams when they play against us is big for sure, but I think the pressure on us was bigger last year, we played in front of our fans. Now it’s less”, tells Vesely when asked about how it feels like to return to the Final Four with a title to defend.

As for his performance this season, the Czech forward commented: “The basketball I play this season I think is the best in my career. I try not to look at stats. I will be happy if I score two points and win the trophy, not if I score 20 and lose it”.

He also gave an insight into his experience with coach Obradovic: “He gives me a lot of confidence to play and he knows exactly what I can do. He’s very open, you can talk to him normally off-court; when you come to court though, he’s very strict, very passionate.”
