Although they started slow, Zalgiris Kaunas was perhaps the biggest surprise in 2017/18 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaign and will push as hard as they can to make it all the way to the top. It took the club 19 years in order to get to this stage of the competition once again and their next obstacle is Fenerbahce Dogus in the Final Four semifinal.
Their opponent is led by coach Zeljko Obradovic who has the most experience from all the contenders and was also coaching Zalgiris‘ coach Sarunas Jasikevicius in the past. Both share similar views on basketball, and what seems crucial in this duel is which team will better handle the pressure and importance of the Final Four.
