BELGRADΕ – “We deserved the Final Four. Belgrade deserved to host the biggest basketball event of the season”, Tomasevic tells Eurohoops.
The Serbian Basketball Federation is set to organize plenty of projects, including Basketball Without Boarders, while the Serbian NT has also to go through the summer “windows” for the World Cup.
Tomasevic thinks the “windows” are a “good idea”: “I know how important it was for me to have the opportunity during the season to play for my NT. Now that I’m retired, I can see the importance. The only downside is that we don’t have the best teams, that’s why we need to put FIBA and EuroLeague people on the same table, to discuss and reach a solution”.
