It seems as though the big man’s motivation got crushed which could carry on to the third-place game.

BELGRADE —  There’s no doubt that CSKA Moscow center Othello Hunter feels quite disappointed after his team’s loss to Real Madrid in the semifinal.

On top of that, it seems as though the American big man doesn’t feel really thrilled to play in Sunday’s third-place game vs. Zalgiris Kaunas. Even a win won’t sweeten the pill of the semifinal loss:

“I’m gonna say no. Not just because I’m here. I really think it is not necessary. These guys wanna fight for the championship and playing for the third, fourth… I don’t think that’s important. That doesn’t do anything to us. If you win you feel like ‘oh man, I won’. But we didn’t”, he explained to Eurohoops.

Hunter was beaten from his former team in the semifinal but no hard feelings whatsoever. “At the end of the game, we are good friends. I wish them the best at the end of the day. It’s gonna be 50-50. The game is in the air right now.”, the big man finished.
