Doncic said to Eurohoops in the recent past that Spanoulis was one of his idols and the mutual respect between the two stars is more than obvious. And once more it was demonstrated publicly.
Luka Doncic posted on Instagram of a photo of him with the EuroLeague MVP and the EuroLeague Rising star awards.
Among the first congratulate him publicly was Vassilis Spanoulis himself who commented on his photo: “We deserved!! Congrats young king!”
It’s a nod to the official promo of this season in which Spanoulis has appeared as the “EuroLeague king” together with Doncic.
