BELGRADE — Zeljko Obradovic shared his thoughts with the press after Fenerbahce was defeated by Real Madrid at the championship game.
“We were not at the level we needed to be in defense, we missed some easy baskets under the hoop. We played two good matches here. I’m proud of my players”, the Fenerbahce coach said.
As for Real Madrid and MVP Doncic, he mentioned: “Real Madrid suffered injuries in the season, but they have come out again, Luka Doncic has received all the prizes this season!”.
He also commented about Pablo Laso winning one more championship: “I don’t like it [laughs], but I’m happy for Pablo. I know how good of a character he is.”
