“We are sad. It was similar to the game in Berlin. We made some mistakes but Real Madrid is also a really strong team”, Mahmutoglu told Fenerbahce TV.
Following, the Fenerbahce captain commented on some mistakes by the refs and Luka Doncic: “I must say something. The same referee that was in Berlin made some mistakes again today. I don’t know what to say. There is a sweet guy on the opposite team. We respect him, he is a really good player. I hope he will be even better but I don’t understand his “immunity”. Again the same mistakes from the same referee. It’s a little bit heavy to us”.
“But I’m glad that I am the captain of this team. We are a fantastic club. We have amazing fans and players. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to our fans because of their support. We are a strong team with high character. We want to finish the season in the best possible way. We have the domestic league in front of us. We want to become champion in there. I wish the best for us”, Mahmutoglu concluded.
