BELGRADE — EuroLeague 2017-2018 and Final Four MVP Luka Doncic was on cloud nine after celebrating his first EuroLeague title with Real Madrid. Eurohoops talked with the Slovenian superstar in his team’s lockers to discuss the victory and of course his NBA plans.
The potential No. 1 Draft pick told Eurohoops: “I have no words to describe how I feel. I’m happy to be here and I’m happy for winning the championship. I simply focus on how I will celebrate, nothing else. We can’t overdo it though, we have a game on Thursday [laughs]”.
As for his future in the NBA and whether he’d like to be drafted at No. 1 or be chosen by a certain team, Luka mentioned that it’s not the right timing to discuss it: “That’s not on me, the teams are the ones that select. As I said I’m focused on celebrating, I will say everything about my future later”.
