BELGRADE — Walter Tavares won his first title with Real Madrid, a feeling that he could only dream of in the past:
“Seven years ago I didn’t know how to play basketball, so being a champion with the best team in Europe feels amazing, I have no words”, he tells Eurohoops.
Real Madrid overcame a tough season, so we asked Tavares whether he considers this to be the best story in EuroLeague history: “Yes, this is the best story. We got our problems, but we came out more hard and with motivation”.
