Olympiacos presidents and owners Panagiotis and Giorgos Aggelopoulos released a joint statement, Monday (21/5), regarding the successes of the team in EuroLeague over the last nine years.
The statement is as follows:
“We are proud of what we have accomplished with our OLYMPIACOS in this past decade. Two trophies, with the unique achievement of the back2back conquest of the top of Europe, five Finals and six Final Fours. Distinctions that rank us as the top team in EuroLeague from 2009 to 2018.
This historic achievement becomes even more special if we consider that the budget of the Olympiacos team is the lowest among the team’s basic competitors. We’d like to kindly thank everyone who has contributed to this feat.”
