Sarunas Jasikevicius will be a hot commodity during the summer and according to the GM of Zalgiris, a certain EuroLeague powerhouse is expected to make a move.

Zalgiris GM Paulius Motiejunas commented on the future of head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius with the team and whether it’ll be easy or not to keep him next season.

“The same, fifty – fifty,” Motiejunas said per Lithuanian website 15min. “You don’t know this with him. One day I go to sleep calm, believing he’ll stay, the other that he’ll definitely won’t stay. I hear a lot of talks from NBA and Europe teams. We have our pluses, we have things how to attract him, we have what to offer him so that he could stay.”

Motiejunas also gave a… pretty strong hint regarding which club he thinks they might make a move for Saras during summer: The one team that Zalgiris defeated during the Final Four. A.K.A: CSKA Moscow.

“I think Madrid will stay with their coach, they won’t ruin the system that works. I’m not worried about them, I’m worried about those who we beat in the Final Four. Their pressure is increased”
