Amedeo Della Valle will play for Olimpia Milano in the next season, club president Livio Proli announced.
“He (Della Valle) will be with us, it is not a mystery. He has demonstrated that he can have a great impact in Europe,” Proli said following the victory of Milano over Trento in Game 6 of the Italian League Finals and his team winning the title.
Della Valle comes from a breakthrough season with Reggio Emilia. The 25-year-old Italian guard averaged 17.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists over 30 minutes per game in EuroCup, leading his team to the competition’s semifinals for the first time in the history of the club. He was named in All-EuroCup First Team.
With Milano, Della Valle will make his first appearance in EuroLeague.
