KC Rivers has won back-to-back the Greek League Finals with Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens, and is considered one of the best shooters in Europe.

Moments after winning the 2017-2018 Greek championship, KC Rivers caught up with Eurohoops to discuss his future and this year. The contract with Panathinaikos has expired and as he states, he is a free agent:

“At this moment, I don’t have a contract. I’m a free agent and I don’t know what will happen. These two years in Panathinaikos have been great and I will talk with the team. I want what’s best for my family and me, and on that basis, I will make the decision regarding my future.”

The 30-year old guard also dedicated this championship to the Giannakopoulos family: “We won the championship, which is the most important goal. This was the goal we had set and wanted to achieve. We want to dedicate this trophy to the Giannakopoulos family. The family has done so much for Panathinaikos and deserve this championship.”
