A new face is added to Zalgiris Kaunas, as Martinas Geben signed with the Lithuanian champs.
According to the EuroLeague press release:
Zalgiris Kaunas invested in its future with the addition of big forward Martinas Geben, who signed a multi-year deal on Thursday. Geben (2.08 meters, 23 years old) spent last four seasons playing in the NCAA at Notre Dame. Last season, he averaged 11.1 points, 8 rebounds and 1.2 assists. In youth categories, Geben has helped Lithuania win bronze medal at the U19 World Championship in 2013. “Martin has matured in every way in the Unites States, both as a person and as a basketball player”, said Zalgiris sports director Robertas Javtokas. “Our priority was and will be the integration of young Lithuanians into the team, and now it will depend on the work of Martinas as to how his career will continue.”
