Olympiacos announced Kestutis Kemzura as an assistant coach

With an announcement on the team’s site, Olympiacos welcomed assistant coach Kestutis Kemzura to Pireaus.

After agreeing on a deal with David Blatt, re-newing Vasilis Spanoulis’ contract, but also showing interest in Matthias Lessort and Nigel Williams-Goss, Olympiacos announced Kestutis Kemzura as an assistant coach.

Kemzura is a Lithuanian coach and has coached numerous teams that include Khimki Moscow, Lokomotiv Kuban, Nymburk and more. In 2018 he was part of the Darussafaka team that won the 7DAYS EuroCup competition and worked next to David Blatt. From the 2018-2019 season, he will continue working with Olympiacos‘ head coach.

Kemzura has also won the Russian Cup (2008), and the Czech Republic championship (2014,2015).
