Olympiacos Piraeus’ priority at the moment is to find an agreement with Kostas Papanikolaou, who has drawn NBA interest, and Ioannis Papapetrou and this is why on Tuesday both had a meeting with Olympiacos‘ owners.

In a meeting which lasted approximately two hours, the two sides did not reach an agreement, and this was due to the financial reason. Olympiacos made a three-year deal to Papapetrou (2+1) but he and his manager responded negatively, and so a new meeting between the two sides is scheduled in the next couple of days.

The 24-year old forward has attracted interest from Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens and a few other teams from Europe, but he has not discussed with any of them. As he has stated, he wants to finish off the conversations with Olympiacos first before talking with any other team.
