Baskonia forward Tornike Shengelia commented on the reported interested of CSKA Moscow and the rumors that the Russian club is prepared to spend a great deal of money to break his contract and acquire him from the Basques.

“I don’t have to think about it. People say that big clubs want to sign me but I am in one of the big clubs. I’m very focused where I am right now. I put my fate in God’s hands and if God wants me to be somewhere else, I’ll be somewhere else. I try to not put pressure on myself and just enjoy this time with my family. I have a contract with them (Baskonia) and I’m focused where I am right now,” Shengelia said to Greek national television ERT during the LG AegeanBall Festival held in the island of Syros, Greece.

Shengelia is one of the EuroLeague stars gathered at Syros for the festival, together with Barcelona guard Thomas Heurtel, Fenerbahce forward Nikola Kalinic and Olympiacos forward Kostas Papanikolaou, among others. The festival is co-organized by Olympiacos forward Giorgos Printezis. Here are his full quotes.
