Thomas Heurtel of Barcelona talked to the Greek national television about his late teammate in Anadolu Efes, Tayler Honeycutt: “It was something that nobody expected to happen. He was a great person and he was always friendly to everyone. May he rest in peace”.
Speaking about his appearance in the LG AegeanBall Festival, the French guard explained: “I was in Athens for the marriage of Bryant Dunson (ed. note: the Anadolu Efes center married Greek Anna Kavasila on Sunday) and I was glad to accept this invitation by Giorgos Printezis. It was an amazing experience”.
Heurtel was also asked about his team: “We did badly in the EuroLeague, we did ok in the ACB, but we will change things. The team already made some moves, we will start again and I am sure we will do better, especially in the EuroLeague”.
