Petteri Koponen and Panathinaikos are in advanced negotiations, though a deal between the two sides isn’t reached yet, sources tell Eurohoops.
The Greens’ decision about the Finnish combo guard will depend on whether or not they extend their co-operation with Nikos Pappas.
If Panathinaikos agrees on a new deal with Pappas, it will be nearly impossible for Koponen to join, both due to financial reasons and equal distribution of roles within the team.
From his side, Pappas has accepted the terms of Panathinaikos, though again there is no final deal yet.
