As prior reported, Olympiacos showed interest in acquiring Sasha Vezenkov and a two year deal between the two sides is done, according to Eurohoops sources. Olympiacos is expected to announce the signing soon.
The Bulgarian-Greek forward seemed to be an ideal solution for the Reds, as he won’t occupy a foreign player’s spot on the roster of since he also holds a Greek passport.
Venezkov tapped an average of 3.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 13 EuroLeague games last season with Barcelona.
