Axel Toupane left Zalgiris Kaunas and he is the new addition on the roster of Olympiacos, as the club officially announced.

The French forward who was part of the Lithuanian miracle run to the EuroLeague Final Four joins the team that Zalgiris beat in the playoffs.

Last season, Toupane averaged in the EuroLeague 6,9 ppg while shooting 37,5% on threes. He signed a two-year contract which is expected to include an opt-out clause for next summer.

The 25 years old player made his EuroLeague debut with Strasbourg back in 2013 and he has also played for the Denver Nuggets, the Milwaukee Bucks and the New Orleans Pelicans, before returning to Europe for Zalgiris Kaunas last season.
