Olimpia Milano guard Mike James talked about the reasons he chose to sign with the “Red Shoes” instead of Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv this summer, during one of his many unofficial Twitter Q&A sessions with fans.
“I think it was a better team for me,” James said on Milano. “Teammates, coach, life etc. Just my opinion though.”

Maccabi had been interested in James who ultimately decided to continue his career in Italy, by signing a lucrative contract with Milano.
When he was asked to elaborate on his choice, the American guard answered: “In my opinion, Milan is a better team. Roster and new signings. I like the talent we put together.”
