Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that forward Jake Cohen will stay with the team for the upcoming season. The American-Israeli player had signed a 1+1 contract in 2017 and the 2018-2019 option was picked by his club.
Cohen, 27, was instrumental in Maccabi winning the Israeli Winner League. He averaged 125. points and 4.7 rebounds per game in the playoffs and 18 points plus 6 rebounds in the Winner League Final Four, registering a team-high 26 PIR.
The next season will be Cohen’s fourth in the Maccabi jersey since he also played with the team in 2013-2014.
