Fenerbahce head coach Zeljko Obradovic arrived in Istanbul in front of his team’s preparations to meet with his staff and finalize the plans for the new season.
Along with sharing the details of the team’s preparations for next season, he shared his view of the club’s situation as the new campaign is around the corner, assuring that despite club’s financial issues everything will be ready for his basketball expedition:
“A long and difficult season is waiting for us. We will have a hard work schedule for this and today we went over all the details together with my technical team. We also talked about our season plans. We will continue the first part of our work in Istanbul. Then we will play matches against strong teams abroad. We want to prepare in best way to the season. At this point, I would like to thank our President Mr Ali Koç and Semih Özsoy and our administration for providing us with the best possible working after starting their jobs. By meeting all our needs in financial matters, we have created the most healthy working environment for my team and my players. We have a right and healthy structure. Despite the difficult economic conditions that our club is experiencing, I thank them for the steps taken by our administration in order to protect this structure. I know that seasonal tickets renewal process is ongoing. I am sure that our fans will be with us as and they will do their jobs like every season “, coach Obradovic said.
