Nigel Williams-Goss had his first official practice as a member of Olympiacos Piraeus and is excited to start this new Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season.
“I’m excited to get started, it’s been a good couple of days of unofficial practices. We’re just going to commit to excellence, day in and day out, work hard, build good habits. Coach Blatt wants to play fast in transition and defense is also going to be a main focus. Olympiacos is a historic club and it’s no secret that we play for championships.”
Olympiacos‘ newcomer also talked about working next to Vassilis Spanoulis: “He is obviously a very experienced player with a lot of success. I’m very lucky to have a guard like that next to me that I can learn from and play alongside.”
